The LOTEX FOUNDATION was established in Vaduz on December 29, 2004. The Foundation supports welfare projects focusing on Latin America that are primarily managed by local partners in the region. 

The Foundation has been a member of SwissFoundations, an association of Swiss grant-making foundations, since 2010 as well as a founder member of the association of charitable foundations in Liechtenstein (VLGS). The Foundation is subject to supervision by the Liechtenstein Foundation Supervisory Authority.
